ADOLESCENT DIARIES: 

This developing research interest has resulted from two projects in which I've been involved during the past several years.  One project is a comparative study of adolescent diaries kept by Chinese and American students.  Professor Sun Jianqiu of Beijing, China, has recently edited a collection of diary excerpts.  In October 1999, Mankato Free Press ran a feature story, "Unlocked to the World," that describes this project:  http://www.mankato-freepress.com/archives/1999/991015/story2.html
