Luxembourg Heritage Day 1980      Ozaukee County, Wisconsin

Sponsored by the Luxembourg Society of Wisconsin

"Mir welle bleiwe wat mir sinn!"      "We want to remain what we are!"

                                Luxembourg National Motto

In 1980, I first learned about the Luxembourg Society of Wisconsin.  I wrote to Dorothy Schanen Simpson, who was planning the annual Luxembourg Heritage Day.  She invited me to join the Society and come to the Ozaukee County Park for Luxembourg Heritage Day in June.  These are some of the photographs I took that day (the pictures are slightly faded from aging, but they will still give you an idea of how much fun it was!).
