Grading
There are six major grading components to the course--each
counting one-sixth of the final grade and each having a maximum possible total
of 90 points.
Distribution of grading components:
- 90 points for Working With Moral
Frameworks (For specific information, see Information About Grading under
Working With Moral Frameworks)
- 90 points for Analyzing Case
Studies (For specific information, see Information About Grading under
Analyzing Case Studies);
- 90 points for Individual
Activities during Weeks 2 - 7, 15 points maximum for each week;
- 90 points for Individual
Activities during Weeks 1, 8-10, & 13-14 --with 15 points maximum for each
week;
- 90 points maximum for
Investigating Nike;
- 90 points maximum for the nine
Issues of the Week
Grading Scale for 15-Point Maximum Components:
- A = 15 pts.
- B = 12 pts.
- C = 9 pts.
- D = 6 pts.
- F = 0 - 3 pts.
Grading Scale for 10-Point Maximum Components:
A = 10 pts.
B = 8 pts.
C = 6 pts.
D = 4 pts.
F = 0 - 2 pts.
Grading Scale for 90-Point Maximum Components:
- A = 90 pts.
- B = 72 pts.
- C = 54 pts.
- D = 36 pts.
- F = 0 - 18 pts.
