Nature of the Course
Since this is a web-based course, there are no regular class sessions.
Students are expected to spend as much effort and time on this course as they would in one with regular classes.
The course requires a considerable amount of writing--through individual and group work. Normally, each week's activity schedule requires an individual essay and also posted group messages.
Although the absence of regularly scheduled classes provides students with a lot of leeway as to when they want to work on the course, the nature of the group work requires careful adherence to deadlines.
