Acknowledgments
I owe a special debt to Professor Jon Dorbolo, in the philosophy department at Oregon State University. His pioneering internet course, an introduction to philosophy, served as the initial model for the design of my own course. The setting up of group activities for students in my course also has its origins in his influence.
Jerry L. Jeffries, from the Electronic Academy at Minnesota State University, Mankato, deserves special thanks for serving as the course's first technical advisor and wizard. I am grateful to Ryan Schneider, the current technical advisor and wizard for his help in getting the course up and running on D2L.
Student interns Jon Gaalswyk, Harold Perkins, and Harvey Zachman deserve thanks for their enthusiasm and devotion in working with a new type of course initially and in helping students.
Students in my past business ethics classes and students bravely taking their first internet course have helped me greatly in planning the course.
