Accounting Assignment
Look at the Financial Accounts for the XYZ organization. Assume that you are interviewing for the position of executive director, and that this is a community service organization. Run the financial ratios for the current and past year (you might want to create another worksheet on the spreadsheet, and let the spreadsheet do the calculations for you).
- Post on D2L your calculations for the 10 key financial ratios, for the current and previous year. They key ratios are:
- Profit margin
- Return on Assets
- Current Ratio
- Quick Ratio
- Days Receivable
- Days Inventory
- Turnover
- Debt/Equity Ratio
- Leverage
- Debt Service
- Post to D2L the questions you would want the Board to answer before you would consider taking the job.
