Course Objectives:
The student is expected to demonstrate knowledge of basic facts and terms used in grant programs in the field of urban studies. Ina ddition, the student is expected to demonstrate the ability to apply this knowledge by writing a grant(s).

Evaluation:
Evaluation of the course objectives is based projects submitted. Projects must be typed, well written and submitted on time. Late projects will be devalued at a rate of five (5) points per day.

Grade:
A student's grade for the course will be determined by the following formula:

Letter grades will be assigned on the basis of the following percentage:
A: 90 - 100
B: 80 - 89
C: 70 - 79
D: 60 - 69
F: Below 60

Attendance Policy:
Attendance and participation in class are not required; however, students are held responsible for material missed while absent.
