Explaining Yourself

Okay, so you know what you want to do and you have found (several, one hopes) potential partners.

Now, you have to lay your fishing lure right across their path—Write your problem statement.

1.      Remember the three key statements—

a.       The problem is….

b.      The problem is caused by…

c.       Long-term, with no intervention…

2.      Remember to close with a statement of hope

3.      Remember to “make the reviewer cry”

Be specific and concrete; document your case and make it personal.
