Applied Organizational Studies—Tough Choices Exercise

 

For this unit, you are to have read the National Center on Education and the Economy’s Tough Choices for Tough Times (2010). 

 

So, here’s the assignment:

  • What part of the economy do you want to work in?  Sketch out the challenges that the sector is going to face in the coming tough times.  .
  • What unmet needs will business organizations sector be facing because the rapidly changing times? 
  • What can you do to prepare yourself to meet those unmet needs for your ideal employer?   Be specific, be creative, and be prepared!.
