Design a Walk

Suppose you have been asked by Student Life to design a walking/driving tour of Mankato for prospective new students. The idea is to introduce them to the variety of opportunities in the community (of all sorts—employment, leisure, housing, etc.). While people might have to drive from one place to another, at each site they should be directed to walk about and explore the space in more detail.

1) What elements should you be sure to cover in your tour?

2) What sites would you select to demonstrate those elements?

3) What sort of guidance would you suggest to the participants for the various sites?

Your tour guide should include both written and visual elements.
