Dr. Joseph Kunkel has taught in MSU,M’s political science department since 1979. He teaches courses in political philosophy, governmental institutions and political participation. He has a keen interest in political history and the ideas and practices that influenced the founding of the American republic. He has traveled extensively in the U.S. He has visited Italy eight times since 2000, including study-tours to Italy in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007.
