Club Meeting is March 11 at
8:00 pm.
Dive Into the Past-
The show had a great turn out.
There where several booths that were showing all kinds of
cool stuff. The show had five main speakers. Most of the
crowd was there to see the US Navy divers talking on the
bridge disaster and how they help out. The other speakers
talk about wrecks on the great lakes and Bill Matthies of
Minnesota school of diving talk about the plane in Green
Lake. GLSPS once again had several donations for raffle
prizes. A couple of the club members won some prizes.
Open Water Check outs-
The date has been set. Open water check out will be May
16-18 at big blue down in Mason City, IA. Helpers are
needed for that weekend also. If you need any information
or are planning on helping, please contact Cory Monahan.

Tank Inspection and Hydro’s-
The club is almost finished with this year tank
inspections. If you have any tanks that need hydro or
visual inspection, please bring them down to the club as
soon as you can. The club would like to thank Terry Vaith
for taking tanks up to be hydro.
Discover Scuba-
The spring discover scuba class was small and everything
went smooth. The class was happy that they got to spend a
lot of extra time under water. The club would like to thank
everyone that help out that evening.
Summer dive trips-
The club has planned to go to the Keweenaw Peninsula (diving
the Mesquite) instead of going to Isle Royale. The dates
for this trip are July 9-13. The dates for the Bayfield
trip has also change. It is going to be July 30 – August
3. If you are going on one or both of these trip, or want
information about these trip, please contact Don
Matejcek(507-451-8888). There also is going to be a sign up
sheet down at the club.
Spring Banquet-The
club has set the date for the spring banquet. It is going
to be on Sunday, April 13th. Social Hour will
start at 4:30 with supper at 5:30. It will be at the
Associated Church in Owatonna. The main speaker is going to
be the Ellis talking about Cozumel.
Milwaukee Dive Trip-The
date has been set for the spring trip out to Milwaukee, WI.
It is going to be April 18-21. If you would like to go or
would like more information on the trip, please contact Cory
Monahan at 507-271-2623 or email at
corey@psicylinders.com. You can also stop down at the
club building for more information also.
Advance Open Water Classes-
If you are planning or wanting to take the Advance open
water class, the date has been set. It will be June 21-22
up at Crosby. You will need to contact Cory Monahan to sign
up. Cory will let you know what you will need and what book
work will need to be completed. Contact information is Cory

Mike Logan in town-Mike
Logan will be in town this week. He will be down at the
pool on Wednesday day and at the club on Thursday.
Ice diving in March-
John Chapman is planning on a couple of ice dives this
month. If you would like to attend, please let him know.
Most of them are planned on Thursday nights, so it will be

Membership renewal-
There will be a letter that is
going in the mail this week on membership renewal. Please
fill out the information and return it to the club.
