Bayfield- This year trip to Bayfield was great. The weather was warm, the lake was calm, and the water was warm. The campground is starting to get there act together and did have the right camping spots reserved. The only trouble that we somewhat had a problem with is the lake is too low. The marina has lost some dock space due to low water, but after looking the marina over and measuring the depths of the open docks, we manage to get our boats in. The fish fry was moved to Friday this year. It was a great turn out and the food was extremely good. Several of the club members made it out to several wrecks and made some dives. They also explored the surrounding islands and light houses. The rodent problem was about the same. The chipmunks and the squirrels where still around being mischief as usual. A dog got into a tent and made a big mess, but Ma Morris took a broom and sent the dog down the road. It was a great time. This is one of the clubs dive trips that if fun for everyone and is a good trip for beginners to get out and do some diving.
Wade and Tina Wedding- Wade and Tina are getting married this Saturday in Faribault. If you are planning on going or decide to go, the directions are at the club building. Best wishes to both.
