(Training dives and Local dives) –

Spring Open water training- The Open water training is about over.

Spring open water check out- The spring open water check out dives have been set for the Weekend of May 19^th and the 20^th. Mark you calendar and if you have question on it, contact Cory Monahan (507-271-2623 or cory@psicylinders.com ).

(Spring Banquet)- The dates for the spring banquet have been set. It is going to be on April 14^th, with social hour starting at 5:00 pm. The banquet is going to be held at the Associated Church, located at 800 Havana Road in Owatonna. The main speaker for the banquet is going to be Dennis Huisenga on his trip to Canada. There will be door prizes for both Adults and children. The club will provided plates, utensils, fruit punch and coffee. Members are asked to bring a dish to pass around.

àAt the banquet this year is going to be a raffle. It is a Luxfer aluminum 80 cubic foot scuba tank that has just been hydro. The tickets for the raffle are $5.00 for one or $10.00 for threeß.

Every one is welcome to attend, even all the new members that are taking open water class. This is a good way to meet club members and to hear about the dive trips that we have during the year.

(Vote for Diver of the Year) – There are three ways to vote for diver of the year. Votes can be cast in person at the Spring Banquet or absentee by sending an email to dawg@hickorytech.net or calling me at 507-276-2044. Those not eligible for Diver of the Year are past winners, Denny Javens (2003), Mike Logan (2004), or Don Matejcek or John Chapman (2005)

(Tee shirts and sweatshirts)- At the banquet this year, we are going to have tee shirts and sweatshirts for sell. There is going to be the butt naked tee shirts, the ship wreck tee shirt, and 45^th anniversary of the club tee shirt and sweatshirts. If you can’t make it to the banquet and want a tee shirt or a sweatshirt, let me know or stop down to the club on meeting nights or pump nights.

(Open Swim)- The pool is going to be open swim on April 4^th, 11^th and the 18^th. After the 18^th, the pool is closed for repairs.
