describes its mission: " The Women of Color Web is dedicated to providing access

Woman and Politics The site describes itself: The Center for the American
Woman and Politics (CAWP) is a university-based research, educationand public
service center. Its mission is to promote greater understanding and knowledge
about women's relationship to politics and government and to enhance women's
influence and leadership in public life. CAWP is a unit of the Eagleton
Institute of Politics at Rutgers.
- Institute for Women's Policy Research. The
Institute describes itself: The Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR) is
an independent, non-profit, scientific research organization incorporated in
the District of Columbia, established in 1987 to rectify the limited
availability of policy relevant research on women's lives and to inform and
stimulate debate on issues of critical importance for women.

mechanism allows users to specify type of document, geographic region, publishing
organization, subject matter, author, title of periodical, and year of
