broadband video distribution System that broadcasts satellite, cable TV, security cameras, and other video-on-demand (VOD) services over twisted pair cable.
The current System (2nd generation) can simultaneously broadcast 79 analog or hundreds of digital video channels over Category 5/6 cable. This is a bi-directional, plug-and-play, active hub and balun system that provides a means of distributing quality video signals throughout a building or campus.
Soon to be launched, 4th Qtr. 2007, will be Z-Band's astonishingly new 3rd generation 860 MHz, high definition video hub and intelligent balun.
All this bandwith of analog, digital, and high definition video will be available over CAT 6, or better calbe, at 90 meters from closet to drop.

The System broadcasts up to 79 analog or hundreds of digital video channels,
including High Definition 1080i/p, over twisted pair
(CAT 5/6 cable) per a "568" wiring infrastructure. The System distributes
multimedia video from sources such as Cable TV, DSS, and modulated baseband
outputs from cameras, VCR's, DVDs and computers to as many as 9000 RJ-45
outlets. The System provides a video distribution platform for television,
security monitoring, electronic bulletin boards, video conferencing, distance
learning, media retrieval, retrieval transmission, and emergency alert
broadcasts.
